Yay. At this very moment, my piano is getting tuned. And the one at our church was just tuned. Hallelujah!! Nothing is better than getting everything to sound just right and in tune.

Kinda makes me think of getting my heart to line up with Jesus' heart. Just like a piano tuner has to take his time and repeatedly play a note to see if it lines up with the true tone, so I have to constantly take the time to examine my heart -- my motives and my relationships, and make sure that I am being true to the tone that Jesus sets for me in His Word. It can be a gruelling process...but it's always rewarding and in the end I know that I am a sweet sound to Jesus' ear.

Come Thou fount of every blessing

Tune my heart to sing thy grace.

Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
