As I was talking with a co-worker about yesterdays tragic events involving Mr. Mailbox, I mentioned that the sidewalk ends right at our mailbox. And then that got me thinking about the Shel Silverstein book, "Where The Sidewalk Ends" . I used to LOVE that book as a kid. All the funny poems and limericks. *sigh*
Anywho, the point is....when I mentioned that, it got me thinking that it would be a GREAT title for my blog! Though I liked my original "Lizaveta", I felt it was kind of lacking depth. It seemed a little self-absorbed, if ya know what I mean. :) So...we'll try this for a while, and see if I like it. Besides, the fact that this blog is meant for mundane and profound moments kind of goes along with the idea of a sidewalk ending. Mundane -- it's just a sidewalk, and yet profound -- ending sidewalk implies end of life's journeys, new beginnings, adventurous path, etc.
Any thoughts or comments?

I really like your new blog name. Sounds like it should be a column in a newspaper or magazine.
I would like to read about what you were able to share with your co workers as per your facebook comment.
